Oh, how the mighty have fallen...

Remember when Les Deux was one of the hottest venues in Los Angeles?

Les Deux had what most venues in Los Angeles would die for, longevity.

The Dolce Group, who owned and operated Les Deux, were able to do something that no other venue at the time was able to do, and that is the ability to stay the "it" hot-spot for over four years.

While most venues can't stay "hot" and open for more than six months, Les Deux did it for four years.

Boy, have times changed.

The Dolce Group has fallen on hard times it seems.

Les Deux has been closed (as reported by this blog over a year ago), their nightclub "Wonderland" has become the GHETTO FABULOUS spot to be, and be seen, "Ketchup" their West Hollywood restaurant is shutting down (so I've been told), and their new bar "Angels & Kings"...well ask yourself, when was the last time you were there? Exactly.

Well, the good news is that Dolce Group partners Sylvain Bitton & JT Torregiani have downgraded in a major way.

These two lovelies now host tables every week for Guy Starkman's West Hollywood hot spot Trousdale.

Yes, you read that correctly...they now host tables.

How can you go from owning multiple venues to hosting a table?

Notice how I didn't even mention promoting the night(s)...you see hosting a table is what sub-promoters do...so they aren't even at "promoter" status.

What's next for these guys, busing tables at Mel's Diner after 2am when Trousdale lets out?

Wow, times are tough for a lot of folks these days it seems.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen (click on the pic above).

Oh, by the way....I know I have been away from this blog for about six months, so there will be a few back stories I will post (meaning things that I've witnessed or encountered during that time span).

Get ready, because I'm just getting warmed up.

This will be my last post, until my next post.
